Our Views

The future of healthcare is personal.

People deserve care that fits their lives. Customers should be able to access care they can choose, afford, and trust, delivered when and where they need it. We are helping to build that future — a modern health system organized around the patient, not the institution.

We work with U.S. and global policymakers to build a future that expands access and choice, upholds the highest standards of quality and safety, and keeps care affordable. We do this constructively and transparently, alongside regulators, policymakers, patients, and providers who want a health system that works the way people live.

Innovation

Technology is making care more personalized than ever.

For generations, people fit their lives around the health system; technology lets us finally build care around the person. Connected data, at-home diagnostics, and AI-supported, clinician-led care now let providers understand each patient more completely and tailor treatment to their biology, history, and goals, instead of treating everyone the same way.

That shift is helping address barriers such as distance, long wait times, and rigid schedules. Telehealth can connect people with providers wherever they live, and allows them to complete the care process on their own schedule. Hims & Hers' technology enables customers to connect with a provider around the clock, with timely responses within 24–48 hours. We build toward that future responsibly, with clinician oversight, clear guardrails, and real transparency at every step.

Meet Clinical Leadership

Our Policy Principles

  1. 01

Access & Choice: Putting Patients in Control

People deserve the freedom to choose how they get care, and to reach it regardless of geography, income, or schedule. Telehealth is closing gaps the traditional system left open. We support policies that protect and expand access to virtual care and keep patients at the center of their care.

  2. 02

Quality & Safety: Earning Trust Through Standards

Trust is earned through best-in-class care that adheres to high standards. We believe in clear visibility into how care is delivered, who delivers it, and how treatments are made. In every market we operate in, we support policies that raise the bar: clear clinical standards, independent licensed providers, honest information about products and prices, and meaningful oversight.

  3. 03

Affordability: Care People Can Actually Afford

Cost remains the single biggest barrier to care. Too many people delay or skip treatment because it is out of reach, and untreated conditions cost patients and the system far more than care itself. We support policies that lower the cost of care and medications, expand affordable pathways to treatment, and reward models that deliver better outcomes at lower cost.

Driving the Conversation

Good policy starts with the right information. We share research, data, and perspectives on the issues shaping the future of healthcare, from telehealth and AI-enabled care to what patients actually want. We aim to inform public policies with evidence and the real experiences of the people we serve.

Engaging With Policymakers

We engage openly and constructively with policymakers and regulators wherever we operate: bringing evidence, listening to concerns, and being transparent about where we stand. As we grow in new markets including Australia, the UK, Canada, and Germany, we work with national health regulators to align our model with local standards for access, prescribing, and patient safety — adapting to each health system rather than exporting a single approach.
